About Dr Mel

Dr Mel graduated from Murdoch University in 2012 and has spent more than a decade caring for pets and families as a small animal GP across Melbourne.

She is dedicated to building strong relationships with clients and works hard to create tailored treatment plans to suit each pet and their family. Dr Mel is experienced in managing a wide range of common companion animal conditions, with particular passion for senior pet health and compassionate palliative care.

She founded Nose to Tail Mobile Vet Care to be able to offer low-stress vet house calls and compassionate in-home palliative care to her furry patients and their families.

Routine Pet Health

All ages including puppies and kittens. A full health check included in all vaccination visits.
Oral checks and dental care advice are a routine part of all pet health exam.

Book us for a health check on the day you bring your new kitten or puppy home. This visit includes a thorough discussion on all the important things you need to know to look after your new furry family member.
Vet advice line new and existing patients. Give us a call if you are not sure what to do or you have any concern. Available until 9pm every day.

A very smelly but common problem, If you pet is scooting their bottom along the ground, or you are noticing a pungent fishy odour around them, book us to have a look (and a squeeze).
Many people think the pain that comes with arthritis is normal. But there is alot that can be done to reduce pain and improve quality of life. Book us for an arthritis pain and management plan.
Collect urine and blood samples is easily done at home. Sometimes the hand of an experienced nurse is needed but we will let you know at the visit if that is required.
Requires a relaxed patient for the most accurate readings and where better to do that than at home.

End of Life
